The importance of those within the Health Psychology community communicating findings and recommendations with members of the public has been highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, those within the Health Psychology community may often feel that they do not have the knowledge, experience and/or confidence to communicate with the media.

Speaking to the media can be daunting whether it is with your local paper or on national TV. In this enjoyable, interactive workshop you will learn what the media is looking for and how to plan and give great interviews.

Broadcasters Caroline & Steve Le Fevre have helped thousands of people become effective communicators and, in this webinar, you will have the opportunity to build your media skills and take part in practice online interviews to become confident and engaging spokespeople.

Steve Le Fevre 

Steve Le Fevre won the ‘Outstanding On Screen Talent’ category at the 2018 Royal Television Society Awards. He’s a network television & radio presenter who has worked for all the major channels. He had his own shows on Radio 5Live and ITV Daytime & was a daily face for the BBC in Northern Ireland prior to moving to Yorkshire Television where he fronted daily live programmes & documentaries. He presented the Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Bristol for 9 years until 2017 as well as appearing on the evening TV news & Politics Show on BBC 2. He recently presented ‘The Week with Steve Lefevre,’ a weekly topical talk show on Made TV stations across the UK.

Caroline Le Fevre 

Caroline le Fevre is a network TV & Radio producer and media consultant. For many years she worked for BBC Radio 4. She was the North of England Producer for Woman’s Hour and has also produced their consumer show You & Yours, documentaries as well as programmes on BBC Radio2. She has presented her own shows on numerous stations across the country and her TV work has included news and lifestyle programmes. 14 years ago, Caroline & Steve set up Lefevre Media to help people give powerful media interviews and inspiring and persuasive speeches. They also help companies deal with sensitive national news stories.
