Asset Alliance Group will provide Manchester-based Bunzl Retail Supplies with 23 DAF XF 6×2 tractor units.

The distribution firm took on the vehicles on a two-year full-service contract hire agreement after shopping around.

Craig Duddle, transport manager at Bunzl Retail Supplies, said: “We have worked with Asset Alliance Group previously on smaller agreements but never on a deal of this size.

“Finding a partner that understood our needs and that was able to point us in the right direction was essential for us, so we approached several contract hire providers before making our decision.

“Asset Alliance Group was able to provide us with exactly what we were looking for.”

The DAF tractors come with super space cabs and will operate five days a week, clocking up around 160,000km a year delivering goods such as cleaning products and packaging to supermarkets across the UK.
